DELIVERED NEW ON THE 5th OCTOBER 1972 TO BOLTON MOTORS WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER ATL 91L, IT ORIGINALLY LEFT THE FACTORY IN SABLE, BUT THE LAST OWNER HAD IT COMPLETELY COLOUR CHANGED TO DARK BLUE,  (1988) WHICH INCLUDED ENGINE OUT TO PAINT THE BULKHEAD AND FRAME

I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE HISTROY FROM 1972 TO 1984, WHEN IT PASSED THROUGH 2 OWNERS AND THEN TO THE CURRENT OWNER FROM 1987 TO 2021, THE CAR HAS ONLY COVERED A FEW THOUSAND MILES IN THE LAST 15 YEARS.

MOTs DATING EVERY YEAR FROM 1985 TO 2022, CURRENT MOT TILL SPETEMBER 2022

CHROME ALL GOOD

PAINTWORK IS OVER 30 YEARS OLD, AND WHILST STILL HAS A GOOD SHINE, THE PRIMER USED HAS SHRUNK UNDER THE PAINT CAUSING CRAKING IN THE TOP COAT, THIS IS EVIDENT ON THE REAR WINGS AND BOOT LID.

INTERIOR IS VERY GOOD, AND ORIGINAL, HOOD IS VERY GOOD BUT HAS FADED.

HAS THE OPTIONAL STEEL WHEELS FROM NEW, VERY EASY TO CHANGE TO WIRE WHEELS, IF PREFFERED.

UNDERNEATH IS VERY SOLID AND RUST FREE.

I DROVE THIS CAR 35 MILES FROM WHERE I COLLECTED IT, ONCE IT HAD WARMED UP IT DROVE VERY WELL I HAVE A VIDEO FILMED AFTER 25 MILES SHOWING ALL THE GUAGES WORKING, OIL PRESSURE REMINED CONSTANT AT OVER 40 , THE TEMPATURE REMINED IN THE CORRECT MARGIN, NOT ONCE GETTING HOT, I THINK IT WILL NEED A GEARBOX MOUNTING BUSH AS I COULD FEEL MOVEMENT, THE BRAKES OPERATED FINE, AND AT NO TIME HOT OR COLD, NO SMOKE AT ALL.

OVERALL A VERY USABLE E TYPE AT A VERY SENSIBLE PRICE, AND GETTING VERY VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND.
